Yego taxi hailing company signs MoU with drivers

    Four days after online taxi associations threatened to switch off all apps that have not complied with their demands, Yego Mobility Limited have today become the first app company to sign a MOU with the associations. Yego Mobility CEO Karanvir Singh said the company is working with drivers help them start contributing to NHIF health insurance as well as a pension scheme. Digital taxis association of Kenya chairman David Muteru, on his part, expressed gratitude for Yego coming to the table and agreeing workable solutions. He called on other taxi app companies to follow suit, insisting that drivers will quit non-compliant apps.
