Residents of Misikhu, Webuye, staged protests on Friday after the body of a 7-year-old girl was found at the local market. The angry crowd blocked the Misikhu–Webuye highway for over five hours and vandalised a shop suspected of selling drugs, accusing authorities of laxity on security.
