Three people have been killed in a suspected banditry attack in the Nosukuro area, Rugus location Baringo South. The three who were in the grazing fields are alleged to have been ambushed and shot at close range. One other herder is reported to have escaped unhurt. Baringo police commander Julius Kiragu says security organs are working together to rid the area of bandits. Local leaders have condemned the incident calling on the government to arrest the menace decisively, warning of the return of acts of banditry.
