KCSE Vigilance Police Killed in Siaya

    Police have launched a manhunt for two assailants following the killing of a policeman detailed to provide security during this year’s Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations in Siaya. The officer who was in the company of his colleague was reportedly attacked by unknown assailants as they were transporting the Geography paper to Mahero Secondary School in Uranga division, Siaya County. His colleague is currently nursing knife wounds in the hospital. The assailants are reported to have stolen the officers’ AK47 rifles and 30 rounds of ammunition. Separately a chopper ferrying the National Examinations in Wajir crushed. Fredrick Parsayo with the details.
