Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has asked counties to do more to offer relief aid to communities affected by the El Nino rains. In a heated salvo in response to Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Nassir who had faulted the national government for failing to provide relief aid to affected communities at the coast, the D.P said the Mombasa county government was hoarding funds and yet it has enough funds to offer relief aid. The deputy president spoke while distributing food to more than one thousand families affected by the El Nino floods in Kisauni, Mombasa County.
