Mwili wa Mtanzania uliyozama Wapatikana Mto wa Miami
Mwili uliopatikana ukielea katika Mto wa Miami Jumanne asubuhi umethibitishwa kuwa wa mtu mmoja aliyeanguka ndani ya maji kutoka katika boti wikiendi.
Mwili huo ulipatikana katika mto karibu na daraja moja lilioko katika eneo la 300 block huko Kaskazini magharibi 2nd Street.
Kanda ya video iliyochukuliwa kutoka katika helikopta aina ya Chopper 6 ilionyesha boti ya uokoaji ya Kikosi cha Zimamoto cha Miami kikishughulikia kuuopoa mwili huo kutoka majini.
Maafisa wa Polisi wa Miami wamethibitisha mwili huo kuwa wa Abraham Mgowano, aliyetoweka tangu Jumamosi mchana.
Mgowano mwenye umri wa miaka 35, alikuwa mfanyakazi wa Google, katika nafasi ya uhandisi ambaye Gazeti la The Citizen la Tanzania limeripoti kuwa marehemu ni mwenye asili ya Tanzania.
Kulingana na Kamisheni ya Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation FWC, Mgowano kutoka Berkley, California, alikuwa ni moja wa abiria 12 katika boti iliyo na urefu wa futi 44, kabla ya kuanguka majini kiasi cha saa nane na nusu mchana.
Waokoaji kutoka Zimamoto ya Miami waliutafuta mwili wa mtu huyo aliyekuwa na umri wa miaka 35 aliyeanguka majini.
Kikosi cha Ulinzi wa Majini cha Marekani kilijiunga na zoezi hilo la kumtafuta mtu huyo lakini walisitisha utafutaji wao Jumamosi usiku.
Maafisa wa Kamisheni (FWC) walisema Jumatatu kuwa walikuwa wanaendelea kushirikiana na Polisi wa Miami-Dade na Waokoaji wa Kikosi cha Zimamoto cha Miami kutafuta mwili katika eneo hilo.
Maafisa wa FWC pia wamethibitisha kuwa mwili huo ni wa Mgowano na walisema uchunguzi bado unaendelea.
“Mioyo yetu iko na marafiki na familia ya Bw Mgowano wakati huu mgumu unaowakabili,” FWC ilisema katika taarifa yao.
