National Assembly majority leader Kimani Ichung’wa was put to task by legislators to explain why the deputy president Rigathi Gachagua had boarded a commercial airline to Mombasa for an official function. Legislators queried the safety of the second in command demanding to know why he had not used a military chopper. Ichungwa however dismissed claims Gachagua had been denied access to the military chopped adding the DP had preferred to use the national airline for his travel. At the same time, Ichungwa cautioned a section of bloggers over their remarks which he said bordered on treason.
