Marakwet community leaders in Kerio Valley have called on other communities to embrace the culture to help restore peace and unity in the area. While leading the celebration of Marakwet culture held at Kapsowar Girls School, the Elgeyo Marakwet Culture, Gender, and Youth Affairs CEC Purity Koima said celebrating community cultures will help unite communities that have experienced strife in the past.
