Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is calling on the youth to call off their demonstrations saying the government has heard them and mechanisms to address their grievances are being put in place. Gachagua who was speaking in Laikipia East during a burial noted what started as peaceful demonstrations has been infiltrated by goons who are now looting and destroying property in various parts of the country taking away major gains made in the country’s development.
