Two casual workers allegedly arrested with explosives outside the Muthaiga home of businessman Jimi Wanjigi will remain in custody for seven more days to allow police to complete investigations. Milimani chief magistrate Bernard Ochoi in his ruling said there are sufficient reasons to detain them pending investigations. The two, Duncan Odhiambo and Calvin Ochieng, through lawyer Willis Otieno asked the court to review it's decision saying the state has no reasons to detain them . Otieno called for their release, claiming they have evidence of the security officers planting explosives at Wanjigi's home. Meanwhile, Jimi Wanjigi has obtained court orders restraining police from entering his homes or business premises.
