Attorney General Dorcas Oduor and East African Community and Regional Affairs Cabinet secretary Beatrice Askul have taken oath of office. The two were sworn into office at State House Nairobi in a ceremony witnessed by President William Ruto. The President urging the 1st woman Attorney General to work with justice sector agencies saying her appointment was not about gender but her diligence in service delivery. The Head of State saying the responsibilities of Askul will extend to partner states, as she will also be an ex-officio member of the East African Legislative Assembly.
