Wildlife conservationists have raised concerns over the decreasing number of elephants in the country, attributed to poaching, encroachment, and climate change.The stakeholders are now calling on environmental conservationists to help advocate for peaceful co-existence of the jumbos and human beings to avert their possible extinction. This comes as the director of Elephant Neighbor Center Organization Dr. Jim Justus Nyamu embarks on a walking journey from Nairobi to Addis Ababa Ethiopia to advocate for the conservation of elephants, under the theme " Horn of Africa - Ivory belongs to the Elephants".
