The decision by the senate to impeach Governor Kawira Mwangaza which if okayed by the courts could toss her into political oblivion is one that has been met by divergent views among Meru residents. Whereas MCA’s who voted for her impeachment broke out in song and dance, some of the residents appeared to support the governor’s decision to seek legal redress alleging political machinations. Others were however of the view she should vacate office to pave way for county development. Here are their views on her impeachment by the senate.
