The government has deregistered 20 Recruitment agencies for duping Kenyans with fake job opportunities. Appearing before the National Assembly Diaspora Affairs and migrant workers committee, National Employment Authority Director General Edith Okoki said some of the deregistered companies had attempted to seek fresh registration using new names but were flagged out. The authority, without giving names, indicated that several politicians were attempting to protect those rogue agencies.
