Let religious leaders develop how they want to regulate themselves – Ruto

President William Ruto has assured the church that his government would not allow the freedom of worship to be tampered with amid a proposal to introduce a code of conduct for Kenyan religious centres. Addressing congregants at AIC Milimani, Ruto told church leaders that his administration would defend the freedom of worship and allow churches to self-regulate their activities. His sentiments come after weeks of church leaders expressing their concerns over calls to regulate churches nationwide.
