A section of residents in Oljorai area Nakuru County held demonstrations to protest plans by certain individuals to evict them from their ancestral land. Led by former MCA John Ole Seina the residents have accused some powerful individuals in government who they say are working in cahoots with certain leaders in the area to grab land that was given to them by the late President Daniel Moi.The residents while in a public Baraza vowed that they will not be intimidated to move away from their land even as they called on the government to intervene and ensure justice is served.
