Busia county government has initiated the construction of a modern trailer car park at Mundika Area and Malaba town in a bid to ease the snarl-up of trailers that have been stretching for kilometres.Speaking during an interview CEC for Water and Irrigation Eng Andrew Meso said that the park will serve between 150-500 trucks a day with hotel and sanitation facilities set to be constructed in the same space. The move is aimed at offering relief to hundreds of truck drivers plying the route who often are stranded for hours as they await clearance.
