Learning institutions encouraged to implement climate action programs in their curriculums

Learning institutions are being encouraged to implement climate action programs in their curriculums to empower students to be environmentally conscious. This call to action was made to mark National Tree Planting Day at the First Lady Mazingira Award Ceremony, flama, where education stakeholders were urged to embrace tree-planting initiatives as part of the government’s agenda to combat climate change by planting 15 billion trees by 2030.
