As the world commemorates breast cancer awareness month, cancer patients and survivors are calling on the government to implore more resources in social economic and health support for such patients, due to the expensive nature of treatment and managing the disease, according to health cabinet secretary Dr. Deborah Mulongo, the government is committed to supporting cancer treatment through the new social health insurance fund (SHIF).
