The government has been urged to process special identification cards for the elderly for easy access to social services. During early Mashujaa Day celebrations dubbed Staara ya Wazee, Tessie Musalia emphasized on the need for the government to come up with measures to ensure the elderly get proper health care services, decent housing and protection from abuse. Those who attended the event organized by Ushirika Wema did light exercises and got free medical checkups.
