Wizara ya elimu imetoa hakikisho kwamba kuna miundo msingi ya kutosha kuwahudumia wanafunzi watakaofuzu kutoka gredi ya nane na kujiunga na gredi ya tisa mwezi januari mwakani. Katibu wa elimu ya msingi Dr. Belio Kipsang amesema serikali imekamilisha asilimia 68 ya ujenzi wa madarasa huku wabunge wakiahidi kukamilisha ujenzi wa madarasa yaliyosalia. Kipsang pia alisema walimu elfu 20 wanagenzi wataajiriwa mwezi januari mwaka ujao ili kupunguza uhaba ulioko.
