Kenya Wildlife Service is on the spot for failing to implement two presidential directives to open a livestock corridor in Malka Halaku conservancy in Tana River County. Tourism and Wildlife Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano and KWS Director General Erastus Kanga were on Thursday at pains to explain to the National Assembly's Tourism Committee why herders in Garsen were unable to access Galana River despite an existing Presidential directive establishing a livestock corridor from Kone to Galana River. The committee has now given the Ministry and KWS three weeks to resolve the matter.
