The correctional service has been urged to adopt the National Guidelines on mental health and wellness and address mental health challenges among prison officers, probation officers, and inmates. Speaking during the Correctional Service week closing ceremony, Cabinet Secretary for Defence Soipan Tuya said there is a need to mobilize resources and support mental health benefits for both the staff and offenders.
