Kenyans send over 200,000 emails on proposal to increase term limits

The Senate email system has crashed after receiving over 200,000 submissions onthe proposed extension of the Presidential and Members of Parliament term limits from five to seven years. The developments came even as the Senate Justice and Legal Affairs Committee is currently undertaking public hearing on the bill sponsored by Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei at the Kenyatta International Conventional Centre.
