During the long rains between March and May, Kenya witnessed devastating floods, landslides and mudslides that left many dead and thousands of people displaced. However, villages in Ganze, Kaloleni and Magarini sub-counties in Kilifi county witnessed depressed rainfall, leaving more than 78,000 people food insecure. Government interventions in the affected villages bring hope to the affected families who need help adapting to climate change's effects.
