Five people died on the spot following an accident that involved a lorry and two motorcycles at Nyametembe bridge in Migori County along the Migori-Isebania highway on Sunday night. Eye witnesses claim that the driver of the lorry that was moving at a very high speed lost control and hit two riders who had pillion passengers, killing them on the spot. police said the lorry was ferrying maize from Isebania towards Migori general direction. Among the people who perished in the accident are two teachers.
