Tension remains high in Bangale Sub-county Tana River County following the death of eight people Friday evening over inter-community clashes. The clashes which happened separately at KBC grounds, Charidende, Nanigi and Anole in Bangale also left at least 20 houses torched in Bula Vago and KBC grounds. County police commander William Sadiq confirmed the incident saying they have began a disarmament exercise in the area.
