A section of residents of Maragua town and its environs have attributed the recent steady supply of water to operationalization of a local dam. This as they expressed concerns over what they say is political interference in the construction of the mega dam which they say could affect the operations. The residents hailed the directive by the President for parts of Maragua constituency to be connected to the Murang’a water and Sanitation Company line which has eased water shortages.
