Amateur stroke play championship: Muthomi kanana of windsor golf club continues winning streak

Muthomi kanana of Windsor golf club continued her impressive winning streak on the second day of the annual Kenya ladies open amateur stroke play championship, held at vet lab sports club in Nairobi. Kanana scored 3 over par 75, bringing her total to 150 points over Friday and Saturday. However, she faces stiff competition from naomi wafula of vipingo golf resort and Joyce Wanjiru of kiambu golf club.This 3-day, 54-hole Kenya Ladies Golf Union (KLGU) Event, which concludes on Sunday, October 6th, 2024, has drawn 62 lady golfers from various clubs across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, And Zimbabwe. Last year’s stroke play winner, Iddy Madina From Tanzania, is defending her title, while kenya’s elite players like Naomi Wafula, Joyce Wanjiru, Mercy Nyanchama, and Muthomi Kanana battle it out for top honors. __
