The office of the Attorney General is set to decentralize the committee of mercy to Kisumu to cater for reformed convicts seeking freedom through the Presidential power of mercy. Attorney General Dorcas Oduor said the move is in line with the government's vision of moving services closer to the people. The AG was speaking in Kisumu after commissioning a documentation centre that will facilitate the safe preservation of public documents relating to the administration of justice. Similar centres will be established in all 47 counties in a bid to enhance accessibility to the services rendered by the office of the attorney general.
