Band Aid’s ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas’ is celebrating 40 years. The classic charity song, whose funds were meant to fight famine in Africa, included a music supergroup and paved the way for a series of charity concerts. But decades later, there are artists criticising the initiative led by Bob Geldof, claiming it depicts Africa in a negative light.
