Journalists have been urged to adhere to journalism ethics when reporting to avoid the publication of fake news. However stakeholders have been urged to support journalists by providing timely and factual information with bloggers urged to fact-check information before publishing it. Speaking after a journalists’ training in Busia town, Kenya Bloggers Association representative Kennedy Kachwanya also asserted the need to support journalists from rural areas who mostly face internet challenges.
