Cabinet says those living in risky areas have to move out in 48hrs

All members of the public residing within risky areas are required to move out within 48 hours. A Special Cabinet meeting convened by President William Ruto Tuesday morning to deliberate on additional measures required to mitigate effects of the ongoing torrential rains on life, property and livelihoods on Citizens, also directed communities living along three main rivers from Ngong to Nairobi to vacate in 2 days, for the creation of a 30 metre planning corridor for the development of social housing, parks, roads and other public utilities.
