Chaos erupted in Nairobi on Thursday morning, October 16, 2025, as thousands of mourners pushed through security barriers and scaled the Parliament Buildings’ walls ahead of the viewing of the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s body. The body arrived from Mumbai, India, aboard Kenya Airways flight KQ203 and was being transported from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to Parliament under tight security.
