Chief Justice Koome urges lawyers to uphold justice, dismisses concerns over large bar intake

Chief justice Martha Koome has urged advocates to desist from engaging in actions that undermine or delay cause of justice. Speaking during the admission of 920 advocates to the bar at the supreme court, Koome also dismissed concerns raised about the high number of lawyers admitted to the bar, saying the country needs more lawyers to expand and make legal representation affordable.
