Over 570 students from financially challenged families in Rangwe Sub County, Homabay County have received financial aid to kick off their first term studies courtesy of a clan initiative.The initiative implemented through the Kowli education recovery saw 3 million shillings raised to support secondary and tertiary-level learners, depending on the severity of the case. The event, which took place at the Ligisa secondary school, sought to address rising dropouts due to financial challenges, as organizers called for like-minded individuals to complement their efforts.
