The Coast region security team has intensified its fight against drug trafficking this year by arresting 33 suspected drug dealers and seizing substantial quantities of narcotics including 4 tonnes of cannabis sativa, 3.4 kilograms of heroin, and 400 grams of cocaine. Speaking after a meeting with security teams from the six coastal counties the Coast Regional Commissioner Rhoda Onyacha, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring the region remains drug-free.
