After rigorous vetting and debating the suitability of Ruto’s cabinet nominees, the national assembly has approved the appointment of the three nominees to the cabinet. President Ruto nominated Kagwe, Kinyanjui, and Kabogo for appointments as CSS for agriculture and livestock development, trade and industry; and information, communication, and the digital economy, respectively. While approving their nomination the appointees were notified not to oppose the government they will be serving.
