The Ewaso Ng'iro North Development Authority has urged pastoralists in arid regions of the country to embrace water conservation during rainy seasons for future use.Director of Planning, business development and Investments at Ewaso Ng'iro North Development Authority Mohammed Doyo, said water scarcity in arid areas is real, with some communities engaging in conflicts over the commodity. The authority addresses water shortages in areas of Isiolo, Samburu, Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir, Garissa, Laikipia and parts of Nyeri by building boreholes and sun dams.
