A section of families of the 148 victims of the Garissa University terror attack in 2015 are urging the government to comply with the court ruling that ordered compensation for affected families. Lydia Namisi and Mzee David Wekesa from Bungoma County who lost their children in the attack also urged the government to establish a memorial monument to honor the fallen students as the 10th anniversary of the tragedy approaches on April 2, 2025.
