Even as Kenya continues to lead the way towards a TB-free nation, significant concerns are rising about TB among children, with thousands of cases being reported in infants and children. This has seen Kenya invest in the use of child-friendly tuberculosis medicines, to ensure the availability of doses and flavours suitable for children, contrary to adult TB, chances of TB transmission from a child are significantly low compared to transmissions from an adult.
