A nine-year-old pupil at Riang’ombe boarding primary school in Borabu sub-county has been left nursing serious injuries after he was caned by his teacher for failing to wear the right school uniform. The boy suffered serious injuries. This is despite Corporal punishment being banned in learning institutions in Kenya. The child’s parents are now seeking justice. The teacher is still at large.
