Court declares unconstitutional Gov’t directive on E-Citizen school fees payment

The High Court has declared school fees payment on e-Citizen Unconstitutional. Delivering the ruling, Justice Chacha Mwita prohibited the government from enforcing the directive, stating there was no public participation conducted before its implementation. Meanwhile, the Director of Public Prosecution has approved manslaughter charges against Body by Design Clinic proprietors and a surgeon who allegedly performed a botched operation on a patient late last year.
