The Court users committee in Embu County under the leadership of Embu high court presiding judge Lady Justice Lucy Njuguna is in the process of operationalizing the Alternative Justice system as one way of promoting access to justice in the County. Justice Njuguna observed that only 13% of cases make it to the courts in Kenya while 87% do not.
