CS OPARANYA ON EMPOWERING MSMEs

The Cabinet Secretary for Co-operatives and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Development, Wycliffe Oparanya, has underscored the government’s commitment to empowering small businesses as a backbone of Kenya’s economy. Speaking at the 3rd MSMEs Connect Dialogue held at Tononoka Social Hall in Mombasa, Cs emphasized that 90 percent of Kenyans earn their livelihoods through small businesses, which contribute about 30 percent of the country’s GDP.
