Mombasa Deputy County Commissioner Ronald Mwiwawi has urged Islam religious leaders (Imams) and Muslim schools (Madrassa) teachers in the county to join hands with the security teams in taming the juvenile gangs wreaking havoc in the county. Speaking during a seminar that brought together Islamic religion tutors and imams in the county, the deputy county commissioner asserted that a large number of the perpetrators involved in criminal activities are Muslim youths hence the need to provide comprehensive Islamic education and sermons to the young generation.
