Interior cabinet secretary Kipchumba Murkomen now says several people have been arrested about the garbage dumping fiasco at the Kenya Power and Lighting Company offices at Stima Plaza in Nairobi. Murkomen says investigations into the incident will continue and a comprehensive report will be submitted to parliament, warning that those found culpable will face the full force of the law. In the meantime, the Council of Governors has accused KPLC of wielding unchecked powers in its dealings with the counties, disrupting operations and endangering the lives of Kenyans.
