A Deputy Head teacher dies in a plane tragedy in Garissa county

A deputy head teacher of Msalani school in Garissa county has lost his life after being struck on the head by helicopter blades during the morning distribution of Kenya certificate of secondary school. While confirming the incident Garissa. County commissioner Solomon Chesut said that investigations have begun to understand what the teacher was doing close to the plane as it took off. According to eyewitnesses the teacher is said to have been rushing to board the aircraft when he was hit by the helicopter’s tail rotor. Commissioner Chesut has urged residents and officials to be careful to avoid such scenarios. __
