Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua has called for calm in the Mount Kenya region in the wake of an impeachment motion seeking to remove him from office. Gachagua, who spoke in kiambu county, said only the people of Kenya will remove him from power and not members of parliament. This as it emerged 334 signatures have so far been appended ahead of the impeachment motion possibly next week. __
