Rongo member of parliament Paul Abuor was today arrested and later released by the ethics and anti-corruption commission (EACC) over corruption allegations involving 122 million kenya shillings meant for the construction of classrooms and drilling of boreholes from the Rongo CDF kitty. The MP's assistant is also under investigation for allegedly being involved in a 19.6 million Kenya shilling corruption scheme. According to EACC, both the MP and his aide own companies that traded with NGCDF and are likely to face charges of conflict of interest and theft of public resources.
